You can experience the four seasons in the delightful village of Binda on top of the Great Dividing Range. Binda Mill Cottage is a 156-year-old stone cottage with all the atmosphere you expect in such an historic building. Built around 1850 by the local grain miller, George King, the cottage has been completely restored and extended, creating a luxurious yet welcoming escape from the city.

Markdale Homestead consists of two beautifully renovated, charming stone houses, built in the 1800s but now made comfortable with central heating, phones, satellite television and WiFi, open fireplaces, and modern kitchens. Breakfast supplies are provided for you to prepare, and other meals can be supplied by arrangement. Alternatively, the renovated Shearers' Quarters are self catering and you will need to bring bedding. Groups of two to 24 a specialty. Book through the website. The historic village of Binda is located 20 kilometres north of Crookwell. As the oldest town in the district, Binda was the first to have a post office, police station, courthouse and government school. The town's bushranger history dates to the 1840s. Binda is renowned for its beautiful churches and the annual Binda Picnic Races. Binda is a town that prospered during the gold rush era and is home to St James Anglican Church, built in 1864. This is an early English Gothic Revival style church, constructed from stone, with dressed sandstone sills and fine stained glass windows.
